Security Officer Full Time Residential Luxury Apartments

As a Security Officer Full Time Residential Luxury Apartments in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing entry points, verifying access credentials, monitoring activity, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity. Fri 05:30 PM - 02:00 AM

Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the residential community, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents and site staff while reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
