Clean Harbors , in Santa Ana , CA , is currently hiring for entry-level Facility Technicians to join our team! This position is responsible for performing a variety of labor, material handling, waste processing, and facility support duties in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will work with both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams while maintaining compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a stable career with opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.Work Schedule: 3rd Shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM)Over time opportunities may be available based on business needs; however, overtime is not guaranteed.Hourly Wage: $25.00/HR starting payPay increased to $27.00/HR after 6 months of employment3rd Shift Differential: Additional $1.75/HR, for a starting rate of $26.75After 6 months, 3rd shift employees will earn $28.75/HR, including the shift differential Working Environment:This position is based at a medical waste treatment facility . Employees will work in an industrial environment where medical waste is received, processed, and handled in accordance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.Due to the nature of the work, the facility can be odorous , and employees should be comfortable working in this environment.To work in designated processing areas, employees are required to receive the Hepatitis B vaccination as part of the onboarding process.
