If you are a dedicated caregiver in Southern California ready to grow your career, apply today and help us provide care that feels like family.This job is located in Irvine.Looking for male caregivers that have knowledge using a Hoyer lift and handle a male bed bound patient that has a catheter.Shifts needed are 12 hour shifts from 7am to 7pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 8 hour night shifts from 10pm to 7am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Compensation & Benefits:Holiday PayBenefits include medical, dental, and vision after one year of employmentPaid Sick Leave 40 hours per year401k after three months of employmentFlexible hours and schedule depending on your availabilityResponsibilities:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of CareMeal prep and cookingAssist clients with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc)Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etcQualifications:Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for an FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.TB Test - Must be within 90 days of startMust be able to legally work within the USAPhysical capability to perform all job functionsSafe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clientsMust be able to transfer a patientAbility to speak, write, and read English is a requirementWe are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate.
