The position requires the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment while complying with work instructions and corporate policies, including safety and material management.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform any or all tasks associated with the receiving, pick, pack, and shipping operations of the Western regional client supply fulfillment centerReceiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools), material put away into storage or flow racks, box build, initiating orders on the line, pre-packaging and counting, material transfers, physical inventory, item picking and proper placement, packing with air pillows and tape guns, shipping and affixing labels, pallet preparation, loading trucks, and filling/confirming ordersOffline filling of orders and labelingSafe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacksMoving/lifting and general cleanupComply with work instructions and corporate policies including safety and material managementWork and communicate effectively in a team environmentRequired SkillsItem recognition and countingProper packaging techniquesSafe lifting and cutting practicesShipping software and label printingAbility to lift up to fifty poundsRequired ExperienceTwo years of warehouse experienceWork Environment / Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to fifty poundsSafe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacksOvertime expectedBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientThis client is a world-leading provider of diagnostic information services, operating at national scale and serving one in three adult Americans each year.
