We are seeking dependable, tech-savvy Field Service Technicians to assist at local vote centers throughout Torrance and surrounding districts during the November election. This short-term role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the civic process, with flexible hours, paid training, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in your community.

Position Details:

• Location: Los Angeles County (Districts 1-5)

• Duration: October through November, concluding on Election Day

• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour, with overtime and double time opportunities

• Type: Project/Short-term assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, test, and verify voting equipment at designated sites to ensure smooth and secure operation

• Provide timely on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues as they arise

• Adhere to established check-in, badge, and security protocols to maintain election integrity

• Travel efficiently between polling locations for roving assignments as needed

Schedule & Commitment:

• Complete approximately 4 hours of paid online training

• Attend a full day (8-10 hours) of paid in-person training

• Work a schedule of 4 to 12 consecutive days leading up to Election Day, with potential for overtime and double time during peak periods

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation, especially for mobile roles

• Basic proficiency with technology and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
