Job TitleResponsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.Reports to: Department SupervisorLocation: Garden Grove, CAType: Full-Time Schedule: Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday 12HR Shift) 5pm - 5:30amJob Summary:Measure, weigh, and count products and materialsExamine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are metEnsure that all documentation is kept with the materialsRecord product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and recordsSeal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materialsAssemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand toolsClean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand toolsFollow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasksEnsure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctlyPerform other duties as assignedSkills & Abilities:Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredOther Physical Requirements:Vision (Near, Distance) Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversation Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses Standing for long periods of timeBenefits:Compensation Range $16.90 - $19.60 (DOE) + Shift differential Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer Paid Basic Life, Supplemental Life Insurance, 401k with Employer Match Generous Paid Time Off program 8 Holidays and 1 Floater HolidayWork Environment:The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.
