Warehouse AssistantAssist in warehouse operations and other areas as assigned by department supervisors. 1st and 2nd shifts available.1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00amSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:Unload containersCount inventory on production linesReturn inventory from production linesSort and breakdown of cartonsSeparate warehouse palletsWarehouse cleaning dutiesMay require to operate bailer, trash compactor and stretch wrap machineWill assist in other warehouse departments as assignedAdministrative and Other Responsibilities:Must adhere to all company policies and safety proceduresMUST NOT drive Material Handling Equipment if not certified by Houdini Inc.Typical Physical Demands:Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.Will require to stand or walk for long periods of timeRepetitive movement such as bending, twisting, and liftingTypical Working Conditions:Fast paced warehouse and production facility with variable temperatures due to refrigeration and climateKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to read and writeBasic math skills and ability to use calculatorEducation:Some reading and writingMath skills a plusExperience:1-12 months of warehouse experience
