This role involves verifying quantities, entering data into inventory systems, and ensuring materials are stored and handled safely. They also prepare materials for shipment, maintain records, and will participate in physical inventory counts.Core duties of the position include:Maintain inventory and support internal and external audits.Complete monthly inventory closeouts, receiving documentation, and assist with loading & unloading incoming shipments.Receiving, verifying, and storing incoming materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.Managing the flow of goods into and out of a facility.Preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders.Operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment.Inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.Unloading incoming deliveries and materials and loading trucks for shipment.Performing additional duties as assigned by management.A combination of education and experience that supports successful job performance will be considered.High school diploma or GED.2+ years of experience in a tool crib, warehouse, inventory control, or related environment.Mechanical aptitude and understanding of loading and unloading procedures.Familiarity with software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with management to support operational performance.Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and complete tasks independently.Must meet Export Control requirements; position requires status as a "U.S. Person" under 22 C.F.R. §.Preferred qualifications include:Forklift and crane operation skills.Safety training or certifications.This position has no supervisory responsibility.Occasional local travel may be required.Conditions typically encountered while performing this role include:Extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation.Regular access to the manufacturing floor.Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.Occasional exposure to caustic chemicals; noise levels are generally moderate.It is possible to travel to other site locations during the workday.Occasional weekend work to meet business needs.Required use of safety eyewear in manufacturing areas; safety shoes recommended.Physical requirements must be met to perform essential job functions.
