Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metalworking industries, is seeking a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder, you will be part of the production department supporting the finishing and defect removal processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Grinder

Location: Fullerton, CA

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: 1st Shift: 4am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday, OT on Saturdays)

What's the Job?

• Utilize large swing grinders and small hand grinders to condition parts for defect removal

• Examine and feel surfaces of workpieces for defects and irregularities

• Remove defects, sharp edges, and excess weld material to ensure quality standards

• Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and material condition

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years of related Grinder experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to operate grinders safely and efficiently

• Attention to detail and quality consciousness

• Physical ability to perform grinding tasks; physical not required but drug test is necessary
