Surgery Scheduler (Bilingual Spanish/English)

$26.00–$32.00/hr (DOE)

On-site— Irvine, CA & Laguna Woods, CA

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Overview

Join a well-established specialty clinic and support day-to-day patient coordination and procedure scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, detailed oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in surgery scheduling within an EMR/EHR environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls professionally; provide excellent patient/customer service
• Schedule procedures/surgeries and coordinate related appointments
• Insurance verification and basic eligibility checks
• Chart preparation and documentation support prior to visits/procedures
• Coordinate with clinical staff/providers to ensure accurate scheduling and workflow
• Perform additional front office/administrative support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual: English & Spanish (spoken and written) is required
• Prior surgery scheduling experience is required
• Experience working in a medical office using EMR/EHR
• Strong customer service mindset; friendly, professional communication style
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to provide two professional references
