Job Description
General Purpose
Maintain safe and efficient operation of filler equipment while maximizing production up-time, minimizing shrink, and maintaining quality.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Available to work 3rd Shift 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM. SUN, MON, THU, FRI, SAT. OFF TUE, WED
Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the ESL filling equipment
Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components
Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests
Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Production or general work experience preferred
Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
Able to effectively work in a team environment
Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have a working knowledge of sanitation, production and CIP clean up.
Must be able to perform dye checks, weight adjustments and overall packaging duties.
Must be able to do full clean up, sterilization, production and maintenance of ESL fillers.
Must be able to maintain optimum productivity on a daily basis.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
Must be able to operate box forming and casing equipment.
Must be able to set up and operate coding/marking equipment.
