Stock Controller – South Coast Plaza Stella McCartney seeks a methodical and motivated Stock Controller to partner with the store manager, inventory control team, and shop floor staff to maximize sales and operational efficiency.Overview Responsible for managing the stockroom, ensuring accurate stock counts, and maintaining an organized environment that supports front‑of‑house sales and back‑of‑house efficiency.Responsibilities Organize the physical stockroom for tidiness, efficiency, and accuracy.Receive deliveries, verify accuracy, and report discrepancies immediately.Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts for all departments.Report inventory results to the inventory and finance teams, maintaining expected accuracy thresholds.Carry out annual physical inventory and maintain stock integrity.Open, track, and close stock consignments.Order and monitor packaging and stationery as required.Manage and track after‑sales requests.Identify faulty or damaged stock and follow company procedures.Book and track UPS shipments.Manage overstock levels—clear excess stock and coordinate replenishment.Assist shop floor staff as needed to support daily operations.Coordinate with the sales team to update and educate staff on day‑to‑day tasks and issues.Collaborate with operations and inventory teams for a unified workflow.Analyze store processes, report opportunities, and propose improvements for efficiency.Open and close the store in accordance with company guidelines.Qualifications Excellent IT skills: Excel, Teams, Outlook.Knowledge of Retail Pro or Stealth is advantageous.Prior experience managing high‑volume or high‑value stock.Strong multitasking, self‑motivation, and prioritization in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Ability to collaborate and work independently.Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.Methodical, logical, and strong problem‑solving aptitude.Compensation and Benefits Pay: $24 – $26 per hour plus monthly stock commission potential.Exclusive staff sales and sample sales.Flexible core hours.Maternity and paternity enhanced leave.Fitness membership (ClassPass) and onsite yoga sessions.Volunteer and birthday leave.Employee referral bonus.Financial wellbeing support services.EEO & Accessibility We welcome people with disabilities and endeavour to make reasonable adjustments.
