Shipping Associate

Location: Costa Mesa, CA Shift: 1st [Hourly Pay Range: $24-25/hr Schedule: 6:50-3:30pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our Global Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing domestic and international shipments, packing products and spare parts, and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has experience with shipping carriers, warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP systems in a fast-paced environment. This position also supports receiving, order picking, inventory organization, and other warehouse functions as needed while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and ship domestic and international customer orders and service repairs (RMA) using shipping software and carrier websites.
• Prepare shipments using FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight forwarding services while following customer routing guides.
• Accurately pack products, spare parts, and repaired equipment to ensure safe delivery.
• Label, stage, and prepare shipments for daily carrier pickups.
• Monitor shipping reports and sales orders to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate shipment status and tracking information with internal departments.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies including boxes, inserts, labels, and packaging materials.
• Pull parts and materials for production technicians and customer orders.
• Assist with receiving, inventory, material put-away, and general warehouse operations.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 13 years of warehouse and shipping experience required.
• Experience processing domestic and international shipments.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight forwarding systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or similar warehouse management software preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
