Job Summary We are seeking a warm, organized, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join a highly collaborative healthcare team. In this fully patient-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for our clinic, ensuring that every patient is welcomed and checked in promptly. Working alongside three other dedicated receptionists, you will play a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, a strong willingness to support their peers, and a genuine passion for delivering an excellent patient experience. Key Responsibilities Patient Check-In: Greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and timely check-in process. Insurance Verification: Accurately verify patient health plans and insurance coverage details. Payment Collection: Collect and process patient co-pays and outstanding balances securely. Chart Preparation: Organize and prepare patient charts and necessary documentation for upcoming appointments. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments efficiently. Administrative Outreach: Support the clinic with quality assurance and attestation outreach initiatives. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the existing reception staff to manage patient flow and front desk duties. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Prior experience working in a medical facility or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Certifications: No specialized professional licenses or certifications are required for this role. Attributes: Must be a true team player with a willingness to jump in and support colleagues. Must possess a positive attitude and professional demeanor, especially when interacting with patients. strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

salary: $13.78 - $13.79 per hour
