Location: Irvine, CA 92618

Employment Type: Part-Time | 20-25 hours per week

Schedule: Monday through Friday, hours can be worked within 8:00am and 4:00pm window. (mornings preferred and flexible for occasional date nights)

Compensation: $38-$42/hour based on experience

Start Date: ASAP

About Our Family

We are a warm, close-knit, and active family with two energetic young boys and a lovable Labradoodle. We value a healthy lifestyle and make a conscious effort to prioritize quality time together.Whether it's playing mini golf, kicking a soccer ball around the backyard, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying family adventures, those moments together are what matter most to us. We thrive on organization, systems, and a home that feels calm, well cared for, and running efficiently.

One parent runs their own business and primarily works from an office, while the other works from home and travels a couple of times each month. We have house cleaners who handle the deep cleaning, but we're looking for someone who can take ownership of everything in between—the daily resets, laundry, dishes, meal prep, household organization, Amazon packages, and all of the little details that keep a busy household running smoothly. Our goal is to find a true partner who can alleviate the mental load of managing the home so we can spend less time thinking about the to-do list and more time being present with our children and enjoying time together as a family.

We're also preparing for a significant kitchen remodel that will temporarily change how our household operates for a couple of months. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and enjoys problem-solving—someone who can help us navigate the transition while keeping the home organized, running efficiently, and supporting our family through the changes.

We are looking to bring someone into our home who understands what it means to be a professional in a private household setting — someone who shows up, understands healthy boundaries, sees what needs to be done, and does it without being asked.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management & Organization

  • Create and/or maintain household organization systems
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Post holiday event help
  • Indoor plant care
  • Change and organize batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc.
  • Oversee routine appliance maintenance, including vacuum upkeep, dishwasher cleaning cycles, and other monthly or quarterly preventative care

Family Support & Child Assistance

  • Pick-ups and drop-offs as needed
  • Light supervision or back-up childcare
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, snacks, lunch, water bottles
  • Kid-related errands

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Manage and create the list for home deep cleans: fridge, oven and monitor quality
  • Refresh garage and entryway
  • Clean humidifiers, air purifiers - clean air filters ****
  • Organizational projects (toys, gear)

Inventory & Errands

  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, gift shopping
  • Mail and package handling
  • Breakdown boxes

Meal Planning & Prep

  • Prep healthy meals and snacks. Batch cook 4-5x dinners per per week
  • Grocery shopping
  • Prepare nutritious, family-friendly meals while helping foster adventurous and healthy eating habits by regularly reintroducing a variety of foods to the children, align with family preferences and recipes.
  • Kitchen clean-up and maintenance

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry
  • Linen rotation
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies

Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Oversee cleaners and contractors
  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Manage outdoor spaces (cover/uncover and dust the patio furniture)

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Calendar management (including household schedules) - comfortable with Skylight calendar and willing to learn
