We are hiring an experienced family attorney who can hit the ground running and assist clients inside and outside the courtroom. We are a client-focused, goal-oriented firm. Client's goals and objectives are more important than our egos. $100,000 - $180,000 yearly

• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases
• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
• Keep client files properly organized and up to date
• Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed

• Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations

• Hard-working TEAM player responsible for all aspects of a client's case, including communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending court hearings, settlement conferences, performing legal research, and preparing for and attending trials
• DVRO & Trial Experience Required
• Knowledge of CA Discovery Required
• A California Bar License in good standing is required
• High levels of self-esteem, empathy, and compassion
• Ability to put clients at ease
• Understanding how clients' problems are more than legal problems to them
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Extremely comfortable with technology (and realizes that smartphones might be smarter than us)
