Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The position requires flexibility to work overtime, which can be scheduled at the start of the shift starting at 4 am or on Saturdays with 48 hours notice. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 p OR 10:00am - 6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehouse functions including picking and packing.
• Follow all safety rules and requirements and perform all housekeeping responsibilities.
• Load, unload, move, put-away, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
• Perform daily inspection on equipment.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Prepare products for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Comfortable working with an order picker and reach trucks.
• Ability to be lifted in the air up to 8 ft using the order picker.
• Safety-minded, team-oriented, motivated, and responsible.
• Ability to identify, locate, and move products, requiring basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and/or carry products weighing up to 40 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• 6 months or more of powered industrial truck (PIT) experience appreciated but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to handle moderate physical activity throughout the shift.

Work Environment

The work environment includes using forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and pacers. The role involves being lifted up to 8 ft with an order picker, requiring moderate physical activity. The dress code is safety-oriented, and the position is based in a collaborative, supportive, and respectful warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
