Forklift Driver

Job Location: Garden Grove

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $18 per hour (Overtime available)

Job Summary

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within an industrial warehouse or production environment. This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials, products, and goods within the facility. The forklift driver must adhere to all safety regulations, perform daily maintenance checks on equipment, and assist in maintaining inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move goods and materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, or production areas.
• Safely load and unload products from trucks, ensuring correct placement and minimal damage.
• Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by moving materials to and from designated storage areas. Record inventory data as required.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and performing routine forklift maintenance checks.
• Verify product counts and condition during shipping and receiving processes. Report any discrepancies or damages.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by ensuring materials are stored properly and easily accessible.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements, stock levels, and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
