Expeditor

The Expeditor is responsible for daily reviewing the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) Commitment report and Past Due reports to identify material shortages, plans, releases, and schedule work orders required to complete ETA and past due orders. Daily review of the ETA Commitment report generated by the planning department to identify material shortages and prioritizes them accordingly. Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules. Communicate and collaborate with production departments to ensure orders are completed and shipped in a timely manner. Identifies problems in workflows and recommend necessary modifications in affected departments and teams to Supervisor. Adhere to and promotes all company safety rules and requirements. Performs other duties as required. Attend daily production meeting to provide material parts status. React to MRP messages to ensure material supply is aligned to system demand. Proactively resolve Supplier quality issues that may arise. Prepare material status sheets, milestones, schedules and presentations as required to support new program meetings. Actively support timely disposition of deviated materials and return-to-vendor of defective parts. Manage or support supplier performance improvement objectives primarily around delivery or quality expectations. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain function. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
