Santa Ana, CASanta Ana Ca 3009$17.95/Per Hour3Rd Shift Picker/Packer* Job Description* Branch DetailsJob Title: Packer (Food Manufacturing)Position SummaryThe Packer is responsible for accurately packing finished food products into appropriate containers, labeling and sealing packages, and preparing product for shipment while following all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.Key Responsibilities* Pack finished products into cartons, trays, bags, or cases according to work instructions.* Verify correct product, count/weight, lot code, date code, and packaging materials.* Apply labels and ensure packaging is sealed, neat, and damage-free.* Perform basic quality checks (appearance, seal integrity, labeling accuracy) and report defects.* Keep work area clean and follow sanitation schedules (including line changeovers as assigned).* Follow GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls, and PPE requirements at all times.* Maintain safe work practices and report safety hazards, spills, or equipment issues immediately.* Assist with assembling boxes, palletizing, wrapping, and staging product for shipment.* Complete basic production documentation as required (counts, rejects, downtime notes).Qualifications* High school diploma or GED preferred (not always required).* 6+ months packing/production experience preferred (food manufacturing is a plus).* Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and work at production speed.* Comfortable working in cold/wet environments and around food ingredients/odors as applicable.Physical Requirements* Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions.* Lift up to 25-50 lbs (adjust to your site requirements).* Ability to work around moving conveyors/machinery and wear required PPE (hairnet, gloves, etc.).Santa Ana CA 3009
