Nightingale Senior Care is seeking a compassionate caregivers to assist a part-time female client in Long Beach.

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM Approximately 5.5 hours per shifts client requires care Monday through Sunday.

Important: Care is needed all 7 days of the week; however, caregivers are not required to be available all 7 days.

This is currently our ONLY client in Long Beach. Caregivers seeking addition hours may be offered shifts in Brea, Anaheim, Fullerton, Brea, Placentia, Whittier and surrounding North Orange County.

Pay: $20
Weekly Pay


Additional Client Preferences:

• Caregiver must be comfortable wearing a face mask during the shift.
• Client is highly sensitive to fragrances and odors.
• Perfumes, body sprays, scented locations and strong-smelling products should not be worn during shifts.
• Breaks must be taken outside of the home if needed.

Requirements:

Caregiving experience preferred (professional or private caregiving experience welcome)
Current HCA (Home Care Aide) registration
Successful completion of a Live-Scan (Criminal Background Check)
Recent TB TEST ((Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Respectful, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Responsibilities:

Caregiver will provide companionship, emotional support, and promote clients' social engagement
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Support mobility and transfers, including safe lifting when necessary
Monitor and document clients' health status and reporting changes
Administer medication reminders
Maintain a clean and safe, and comfortable environment in accordance with safety protocols
Uphold clients' rights while ensuring dignity, respect, and compassionate care
