Certification Details Basic Life Support (BLS) Licensed by the California Department of Health Services as a Radiologic Technologist (Therapeutic) Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiation Therapy (ARRT) or equivalent Job Details Under the direction of the Radiation Oncology Manager, the Radiation Therapist and Lead Radiation Therapist perform localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning, and deliver high doses of ionizing radiation treatment to patients according to prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncologists. Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. Maintain knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures, including specialized instrumentation, Quality Control requirements, and preventive maintenance. Job Requirements Excellent communication skills, customer focused, attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Proven excellent customer service skills including problem analysis, root cause identification, practical solutions, and negotiation. Proficient in CT simulation techniques. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Radiation Oncology EMR (Mosaiq). Licensed by the California Department of Health Services as a Radiologic Technologist (Therapeutic). Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiation Therapy or equivalent as recognized by the ARRT. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), approved by the American Heart Association. Schedule Information Shift: Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 7 PM. Hours per day: 8 hours. Hours per week: 40 hours.
