Details Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams across vasculature structures and organ systems 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based experience performing nuclear medicine technology with fusion imaging 2 years of training from an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required ARRT (CT) certification preferred State of California DHS Nuclear Medicine License required if applicable Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association Technical skills in nuclear medicine and computed tomography Proficiency with radioisotopes including knowledge of ALARA, radiation physics, radiation biology, and radiation protection Knowledge of vasculature and organ systems Ability to transport patients as needed Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese preferred Additional Information Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams with emphasis on patient safety and comfort Applies a high degree of accuracy in radioisotope exposure techniques 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration American Traveler Job ID P-717719.
