Description:

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate to join the Chambers USA Band 1‑ranked Investment Funds: Investor Representation team within our investment management practice.

Ideal candidates will have at least three to five years of in‑house, government, or law firm experience representing institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and co‑investment funds. Experience negotiating purchase and sale agreements for secondary transactions and/or forming private funds is helpful but not required. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and excellent communication, deal‑management, and analytical skills.

The candidate may be resident in any of our offices in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Washington, DC and must be an active member of the bar in the jurisdiction of the Morgan Lewis office for which they are applying.

For positions in Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, California, and/or Washington, DC, the salary wage range for this job posting is $225,000 to $435,000. The base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on individual circumstances.

Salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package may also include a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid‑time‑off benefits such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at‑will" position, and the firm reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
