Position HOUSE PERSON | LE PETIT PALI LAGUNA BEACHPosition Description The House Person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, building maintenance and managing the daily linen inventory.About Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach is a 41-room coastal inn offering bespoke lodging, layered with genuine charm, comfort, and unexpected luxury. Guests can delight in an array of amenities, including a sparkling pool and lounge deck with ocean views, complimentary daily Champagne Continental Breakfast, house-made cookies delivered to your room each night, Antipodes water and Baci chocolates left bedside after check-in, and so much more.Tasks at Hand Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine in all common areasClean rooms, hallways and restroomsWash walls and ceilings, move furniture and turn mattressesSweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors in all common areasDust and polish metalwork in all common areasCollect soiled linenReceive linen suppliesRemove trash collected by room attendantsWalk assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift to collect trash or soiled linenRefill the par stock of linen on each floorDeliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to guest rooms on requestPerform duties of housekeeping when necessarySort linen, stock housekeeping closetsRefill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantryHelp housekeeping with heavy liftingClean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating proceduresAssist housekeeping with placing roll-away beds, extra beds, etc.Inspect the condition of all furniture for tears, rips or stains; report any damages to the supervisorRespond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleaguesMust be completely flexible with scheduling and be open to varied schedules every week based on hotel occupanciesFollow uniform guidelinesPerform any other reasonable duties as required by managementWhat We Are Looking For Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitalityDisplays a strong hands-on approachGuest service orientedStrong knowledge of cleaning productsWhat's In It For You A competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay when you're under the weatherCareer advancement in an organization committed to helping star employees thrive.
