My client, an industry leader of nutritional products is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This role will oversee procurement operations, manage a team of buyers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure materials availability, inventory optimization, and successful production support.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily procurement and inventory management activities while supervising the buying team.Coordinate with planning, suppliers, co-manufacturers, and 3PL partners to ensure timely material availability and appropriate stock levels.Monitor inventory usage to minimize excess, obsolete, and expired materials.Support new product launches, packaging transitions, and commercialization projects.Manage supplier relationships, review open orders, and resolve procurement-related issues.Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and support MRP process improvements.Coach and develop team members while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within CPG or food manufacturing.Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning processes.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationHybrid schedule based in Irvine, CA.Competitive compensation and benefits offered based on experience and qualifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
