Identifies mistakes in reports and checks with doctors to obtain correct information
Performs data entry and data retrieval for medical records and physician communication
Reviews transcription work for accuracy
Produces medical reports, correspondence, patient-care information, records, statistics, research, and administrative material
Returns dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physician review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patient records
Minimum Level of Expertise
Ability to type at least 50 WPM with high accuracy
Knowledge of medical terminology
