Accounts Receivable Specialist

Client in Lake Forest looking for a contract to hire accounts receivable specialist to join their team!

$55-60k based on experience

Position summary: The accounts receivable specialist will assume full responsibilities for full cycle accounts receivable and use for effective management, analysis and problem resolution of the companys outstanding accounts and the application of payments. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and will be able to efficiently interface with our sales, customer support and logistics teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Review sales agreements, sales summary sheets and invoices for completeness and accuracy.
• Responsible for ar collections.
• Assist with customer inquiries.
• Records payments and cash applications in our erp system.
• Perform monthly back reconciliation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (ba/bs degree in accounting a strong plus).
• Minimum of 5 years work experience with ar functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of ms office suite, advanced knowledge of ms excel preferred.
• Experience with erp and salesforce.com system preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
