General Description

The general manager directs the restaurant to ensure high performance centered on the customer and an agile operation that promotes customer loyalty. Represents Campero as the local face of the brand. Responsible for the intricacies of running a successful Campero restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Establish objectives and goals for operations and oversee daily shift operations
  • Seeks implementation of best practices in operation
  • Models passion for service, establishing a dynamic of interaction with customers and employees of the restaurant
  • Attends to and resolves problems that arise in the restaurant operation
  • Involves in operational and technical training of employees
  • Provides timely feedback on performance and ensures that the team is developing according to plan, ensuring that incoming staff meet the company policy
  • Maintains food safety and quality standards
  • Verifies customer satisfaction/Handles customer complaints, interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Organizes schedules, tracks employee hours, and records payroll data
  • Places orders with suppliers
  • Manages profit and loss
  • Ensures that all cash withdrawals at the end of the day are completed correctly
  • Coordinates the daily front and internal operations of the restaurant
  • Controls operating costs and identifies ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Coordinates recruitment, selection, and onboarding to maintain a complete team in the restaurant
  • Maintains general standards of sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety for food preparation areas, kitchen services, dishes, and utensils.
  • Follows and complies with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
