- Provision and manage security infrastructure via Terraform - IAM bindings, VPC controls, org policy constraints, and SCC integrations as code
- Identify and remediate configuration vulnerabilities across Google Cloud Platform services, driving root cause analysis and durable fixes
- Lead logging, monitoring, and detection strategies across Google Cloud Platform environments using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Event Threat Detection
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement secure cloud architectures
- Drive adoption of Google Cloud Platform security best practices and compliance standards
- Contribute hands-on across architecture, engineering, and implementation
What You Need to Succeed
- Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud security architecture and services
- Strong Python proficiency - scripting, automation, and security tooling development (required)
- Hands-on Terraform experience - infrastructure-as-code for Google Cloud Platform security controls and policy enforcement (required)
- Experience building and deploying Google Cloud Platform Cloud Functions - event-driven security automation and remediation workflows
- Proven experience developing and enforcing Google Cloud Platform Organization Policies and policy-as-code to manage risk at scale
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services: IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Security Command Center (SCC)
- Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and threat detection in Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins) and DevSecOps practices
- Strong analytical skills with ability to perform root cause analysis and drive data-informed decisions
- Experience working in agile environments across large organizations
