With an in-house design department, we specialize in design-build projects. The Project Architect is involved with creating detailed drawings of buildings and may make models and sketches to test ideas while considering the clients' needs, budgets, and regulations. They will work with clients, contractors, project managers, and the leadership team to ensure the project meets quality standards and deadlines. This role will be making site visits to existing and proposed locations and regularly communicate with the client, stakeholders, and other construction professionals to tackle any project challenges. The Project Architect will have strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are key to successfully creating functional spaces that are innovative, appealing, and satisfy the client's needs. Key Responsibilities Acquire a deep understanding of contract documents and project objectives. Develop technical specifications for projects per construction documents. Develop designs through architectural drawings, models, diagrams, and other visual formats. Evaluate and interpret building codes and compliance with applicable planning, zoning, and regulations, including coordination with jurisdictional agencies. Assist in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, addressing any technical queries or challenges that may arise. Attend site visits as necessary to support project assessments and monitor progress. Cultivate strong relationships with clients and trade partners. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders. Participate in project coordination and meetings with team members, owners, contractors, and subcontractors. Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects. Research and participate in the selection of construction materials, technologies and methodologies for detailing and specifications. Ensure accurate and complete distribution of plans and specifications to subcontractors, flagging any discrepancies. Oversee precise accounting for the project and maintain timely reporting to the accounting department. Other duties as assigned. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Minimum three years of experience in the architectural-engineering industry working on construction projects of increasing complexity. Must have an appropriate and valid driver's license Good oral and written communication skills.
