Pamarco's La Palma, CA location is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving position.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments

• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations

• Unload and check items against freight bills, packing lists, or shipping notices and make notations of damages, shortages and other irregularities.

• Assists with physical inventories and counts

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

• Package finish product for Shipment-Domestic and Internationally

• Complete ship logs and other reports daily

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum/basic skills & qualifications for this position:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to operate forklift

• Ability to use basic measurement tools: calipers, micrometers

• Solid math skills; basic calculations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic percent and fractions

• A commitment to team success through reliable attendance

• Mechanical aptitude

• Basic computer skills

• Previous experience with shipping via UPS and FEDX. Experience with Freight forwarders, various shipping lines, trucking companies and International Parcels is a plus.

• Attention to detail and results-driven approach to work

• Ability to interact with co-workers in a professional manner.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a very high level of accuracy.

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimum supervision

Required to work overtime as necessary.
