SkillSetGroup is looking for an experience Electrical Engineer to work in Irvine, CA. This position will be designing and testing PCBs for airborne systems. The chosen candidate must have hands-on experience with preparing test plans, analog & digital circuit design. Extensive knowledge of aerospace electrical systems is also a must. This will be a DIRECT HIRE opportunity. Candidates must be able to meet ITAR requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist project engineers with design, testing, and implementation of electronic circuits for avionic systems
• Prepare qualification test plans, procedures, and reports
• Prepare acceptance test procedures and system requirement specifications based on customer requirements
• Create schematics using engineering CAD software
• Coordinate PCB design and assembly drawing development
• Design, check, and approve drawings and bills of materials
• Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products and systems
• Support additional engineering tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• BSEE from a 4-year accredited college required
• 3+ years of hands-on electronics experience required
• Working knowledge of ORCAD schematic capture required
• Working knowledge of laboratory test equipment required
• Strong Windows-based computer skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
