A Fine-Dining restaurant is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English General Affairs Manager to join their team in Cerritos, CA. This position oversees the work of team members and provides guidance as needed. A bachelor's degree, the ability to speak, read and write Japanese and at least 3 years of administrative or executive experience is required. This is a full time, hybrid, exempt position with excellent benefits, including 401k.
Bilingual Japanese/English General Affairs Manager Duties
-Manage day-to-day office operations including procurement and inventory control of office supplies, replacement of consumables, coordination of maintenance services, and handling of facility issues.
-Ensures clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
-Provide guidance and instructions within the department and outside departments as needed
-Work across functions with peers in other departments to ensure collaboration for shared goals
-Comprehensive management of subordinates
-Achieve departmental operational goals by contributing insights and recommendations to administrative plans and reviews; developing and executing process improvement initiatives; enhancing office and facility operations; etc. and implementing organizational changes as needed.
-Interact with executives and relevant stakeholders to support the workplace and facility improvement initiatives.
-Provide regular and timely reporting, communication, and consultation to the direct supervisor. -Other duties as assigned by management.
Bilingual Japanese/English General Affairs Manager Skills
-Must have a bachelor's degree
-Must speak read and write Japanese
-Strong vendor negotiation skills
-Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
-At least 3 years of administrative or executive assistant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
