The Assembler I will assemble, inspect, test and package finished product in one or more assigned work centers. Additionally, the position will inspect to verify quality of the item (finish, scratch marks and dings); and complete paperwork for replacements parts and to close work orders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES - Receive and inspect materials for proper part number and finish prior to assembly. Assemble and package, label products, and close work orders. Inspect finished product for proper finish, leaks, packaging, and labeling. Sort and dispose discrepant materials in accordance with established procedures. Monitor and report low/short inventory levels. Adhere to general housekeeping rules and maintenance schedule of work center. Adheres to and be a champion for all safety rules and requirements.
