Job Description As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while helping create a reliable and welcoming experience for all on site. Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:15 PM - 07:45 AMFri11:15 PM - 07:45 AMSat11:15 PM - 07:45 AMSun11:15 PM - 07:45 AM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aviation and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control, badge checks, and incident reporting requirements while following post orders and location-specific protocols for a professional unarmed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
