Location: Whittier, CA
Schedule: Varies (must be available to work one weekend day each week)
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:40 PM
Pay: $18.50

Job Description

We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Mail Sorters / Warehouse Associates to join our team in Whittier. This position is seasonal with the potential to become a permanent opportunity based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail when handling and sorting mail.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort all mail according to designated sort area requirements
• Meet daily production and sorting standards
• Inspect each piece of mail to ensure indicia is properly affixed
• Verify that the zip code on the indicia matches the delivery address
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to read and understand English
• Strong attention to detail; able to inspect and identify defects in mail and labels
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Ability to recognize and identify addresses and zip codes
• Experience using RF scanners (preferred but not required)
• Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
