About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure enterprise network infrastructure across multiple company locations.

This role is heavily focused on hands-on enterprise network engineering, including WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networking, and firewall administration - while partnering closely with IT leadership to strengthen operational reliability and cybersecurity posture.

The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting production enterprise environments, thrives in fast-paced infrastructure operations, and can serve as a senior escalation point during critical network incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructure across multiple locations

• Lead SD-WAN deployments, optimization, and ongoing administration

• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networking

• Administer enterprise firewalls, security policies, NAT, and traffic inspection

• Support secure remote connectivity solutions for users and branch locations

• Monitor network performance, availability, redundancy, and failover capabilities

• Participate in infrastructure modernization and network refresh initiatives

• Troubleshoot complex production network issues and serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource

• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, standards, and operational documentation

• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams during outages and critical incidents

• Support hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience

• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise WAN/LAN environments

• Strong enterprise firewall administration experience

• Hands-on VPN implementation and support experience

• Experience supporting production enterprise networks in complex environments

• Advanced routing and switching troubleshooting experience

• Experience serving as an escalation point for critical production incidents

Highly Preferred

• Hands-on experience with Cato Networks

• Juniper networking experience (routing, switching, firewalls)

• SD-WAN deployment and support experience

• 3+ years of cybersecurity or network security experience

• Wireless networking expertise

• Experience with hybrid infrastructure and cloud-connected environments

Not a Fit For

• Primarily SOC or Security Analyst backgrounds

• Compliance/GRC-focused candidates

• Desktop support, helpdesk, or junior sysadmin profiles

• Security-only engineers lacking deep network engineering experience

• Current Network Administrators without senior engineering-level ownership
