About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its in-house legal team. The successful candidate will be a senior legal professional with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and a minimum of 10 years of legal practice, including significant in-house or foundation experience. The role is pivotal in providing strategic legal counsel and ensuring the organization's legal matters align with its mission. Key responsibilities include transactional work, grantmaking, nonprofit governance, and compliance. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in managing external legal relationships, training and development, and supporting the governance of affiliated entities.Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a strong background in legal and compliance matters, with a focus on proactive risk management and the ability to work autonomously on complex projects.
