About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to take on a hands-on, senior role that encompasses both day-to-day financial operations and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for all finance and accounting activities across multiple entities, including month-end and year-end close, consolidation, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This role requires a strong leader to tighten the close cycle, strengthen internal controls, and build scalable accounting policies and procedures. The VP of Finance will also lead sales tax compliance, partner with the executive team on FP&A, and drive post-implementation ERP cleanup and reporting buildout.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with at least 10 years' of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles. Multi-entity or multi-location experience is essential, as is a strong background in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a hands-on operator with recent experience in close, sales tax, audit coordination, and reporting cleanup, as well as ERP experience, particularly in post-implementation cleanup or migration. Advanced Excel, financial modeling skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at both high and detailed levels are also required. A CPA or MBA is preferred, along with experience in industries such as manufacturing, construction, warehousing, logistics, or distribution, and a background in leading a finance function through a growth or transition phase.
