TheBusiness Development Specialist will focus on driving market growth, managingtechnical client requirements, and serving as a critical link between localcustomers and the organization's global engineering and production resources,including the headquarters in Japan.EssentialDuties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leadefforts to identify and develop new business opportunities; utilize CRMtools to systematically grow the customer network and expand marketpresence.Communicatedirectly with customers to define project requirements, manufacturingmethods, and component specifications (primarily online but some in-personvisits).Analyze3D CAD models and 2D drawings to interpret customer needs and ensure thedelivery of accurate, competitive project proposals.Coordinatewith internal engineering teams at the Japan Headquarters and other globallocations to discuss and refine complex project scopes.Overseemanufacturing activities across various group production sites tosuccessfully establish first orders, including the management of molds andtooling.Utilizebasic metrology instruments and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioningand Tolerancing (GD&T) to evaluate customer component quality.Facilitatein-house prototyping processes, specifically metal molding and castingtechniques, to validate and optimize customer designs.Performadditional duties as required to support the growth and efficiency of thesales department.QualificationsTheideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a strong technicalaptitude in metallurgy or precision manufacturing and the ability to navigate amulticultural corporate environment. There are no specific technicalrequirements or previous work experience as long as you are eager to learn newthings.BilingualEnglish and Japanese skills (Japanese: a minimum of conversationalJapanese to communicate verbally with the Japan headquarters).Abilityto interpret 3D CAD models, 2D technical drawings, and GD&Tspecifications (Preferred; not required).Priorexperience in industrial sales, specifically within casting, molding, orprecision component manufacturing. (Preferred; not required)Proficiencyin CRM software and basic metrology equipment. (Preferred; not required)The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
