Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid company holidays Team lunches and company-sponsored meals Job Details Key Responsibilities: • Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and manage processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure strong team performance. • Pipeline Management: Oversee the loan pipeline to ensure timely processing and closing in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs). • Operational Excellence: Evaluate and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times from submission through post-closing. • Broker Relations: Partner with sales teams to deliver exceptional service and support to third-party broker partners. • Compliance & Risk: Ensure all loans meet company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements (TRID, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending). • Quality Control: Address findings from quality control and underwriting reviews and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications • 7 years of mortgage industry experience • 5 years of leadership experience managing operations teams • Wholesale mortgage experience is required • Strong understanding of the full loan lifecycle (processing, underwriting, closing) • Knowledge of mortgage regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Fair Lending) • Experience with a Loan Origination System (LOS) such as Encompass or similar • Proven ability to manage pipelines, meet deadlines, and drive team performance • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to work onsite in Brea, CA Interested in hearing more?
