Senior Negotiator & Demand Writer

We're looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead pre-litigation strategy and drive high-value recoveries for our clients. In this role, you'll combine sharp legal analysis, persuasive writing, and tenacious negotiation to transform complex personal injury cases into meaningful outcomes. You'll lead a team, own your caseload, and operate at the intersection of advocacy and strategy.

What you'll do

Lead settlement negotiations with insurance carriers and defense firms, consistently maximizing recoveries on personal injury claims.

Review and analyze demands to identify liability, damages, and key case issues — ensuring every claim is fully understood before negotiation begins.

Build tailored negotiation strategies that account for policy limits, coverage positions, and defense posture.

Communicate effectively with adjusters, defense counsel, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the life of each case.

Maintain thorough records of all negotiations, case activity, and client communications — and keep case calendars accurate and current.

Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to ensure seamless case handling from demand through resolution.

What we're looking for

6+ years in personal injury law, with meaningful experience in demand writing, negotiation, or case management

JD with active California bar license required

Demonstrated track record negotiating high-value cases ($250K+ policy limits)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you can make a compelling case on paper and at the table

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
