Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:30 PM-10:00 PM - Responsibilities 1. Prioritize safety and a safe working environment above all else. 2. Communicate effectively with machinists and other co-workers. 3. Removes burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, or other irregularities from machined parts, with attention to detail and precision using a variety of hand tools. 4. Polish machined surfaces to achieve specific finish requirements per drawing instructions. 5. Effectively use tumble deburr and media blasting equipment as needed. 6. Inspect parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, gages, borescopes and comparators. Uses various types of magnification equipment to detect and avoid damage to surfaces and critical areas. 7. Use proper PPE in line with company policy including safety glasses, masks, respirators and gloves. 8. Perform operations such as tapping, spot facing, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring to close tolerances. 9.
