Employment Attorney – Labor & Employment Group

We are a longstanding, full-service law firm based in Newport Beach, CA, seeking a California-licensed employment attorney with 3–8 years of experience to join our thriving Labor & Employment (L&E) practice. Our group complements strong transactional and litigation teams, representing a wide range of businesses in California and nationwide.

We are proud to serve as both trusted advisors and outside general counsel for many successful companies, handling the full spectrum of employment matters — from counseling and pre-litigation disputes to defending clients in complex litigation, including class actions and PAGA cases.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with California employment disputes, including:

• Pre‑litigation disputes, single plaintiff cases, and class/PAGA actions.
• Employment claims such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour matter in both state and federal courts.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions (motions to dismiss, summary judgment, etc.).
• Preparing mediation statements, trial briefs, and other trial‑related documents.
• Superior academic performance, strong analytical ability, and excellent legal writing skills.
