Since our launch in 2020, we've served 100+ companies with strategic financial services to support their growth.ABOUT THE ROLEAccounting Manager with CPG FocusOur Accounting Managers play a vital role in supporting our clients and managing their team. This role is a mix of accounting oversight and workload management, plus client management to ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy in our delivery. This will include workload distribution with our accounting team, client communications, monthly close management, and routine accounting tasks.As a small team, you will have high visibility, impact, and ample opportunities for growth and development!RESPONSIBILITIESAccounting ManagementLead monthly financial statement close process for your client group, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, as well as analyzing and reviewing financial statements and variances.Manage workload delegation within existing accounting team & resources.Oversee team members' work for quality and timeliness.Plan and execute accounting projects, including: historical adjustments to financial statements, conversion from cash to accrual accounting, implementing inventory management by SKU, and other projects as needed.Accounting TasksEnsure accurate QuickBooks transactions and categorization.Oversee inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes across all clients.Prepare and record month-end journal entries with supporting documentation.Capable and willing to roll up your sleeves and perform accounting tasks as needed to meet client expectations and deadlines.Utilize internal project management tools to track tasks and ensure quality and timeliness.QUALIFICATIONSYou definitively have –Work experience in Consumer Brands and/or CPGExperience managing an accounting teamPrior consulting or agency experienceDemonstrated organization and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner (these are often founders)Access to high-speed internetDemonstrated work ethic and an ability to work independently and drive tasks to completionDeadline and detail orientedBachelor's degree in accountingYou love --Variety of interesting workGood people and great cultureCreating value internally and externallyCapturing opportunities and solving problemsLearning and contributing to a growing organizationCOMPENSATIONThis is a full-time, remote positionCompensation commensurate with experienceMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401k benefits are availableHow To ApplyComplete the online application here: bit.ly/bcaccountingmanagerSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesBusiness Consulting and ServicesJ-18808-Ljbffr
