These Machine Operator jobs require a high school diploma or GED along with at least six months of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You need to be comfortable using basic computer systems and have a solid grasp of fundamental math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong English comprehension is important, as you'll be expected to read, write, and understand safety protocols, operating procedures, labels, and other work instructions. You should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once in a dynamic production setting. Familiarity with powered and pneumatic hand tools is also expected. Additionally, you must be willing and able to work extended hours when needed, including shifts longer than eight hours, as well as weekends and holidays.

As a Machine Operator, you will be performing highly repetitive, short-cycle machine operations, including adding and removing products from equipment. You'll be responsible for completing machine setups based on the product line, which includes both teardown and installation of required tooling. You will make minor adjustments to machine operations to ensure optimal performance and validate product quality prior to production runs. The position also requires the ability to troubleshoot minor to moderate equipment issues and consistently inspect product quality to ensure it meets specifications.

The employee will identify defects and communicate findings to the production team for adjustments or troubleshooting. They are responsible for ensuring the availability of necessary materials and tools at their workstation and for meeting and maintaining key performance indicators across product lines. Accurate tracking and entry of information related to quality, throughput, and downtime into systems such as SAP, MES, and Go-Canvas is required. Depending on the work area, the role may involve handling minor chemicals.

In addition, the individual must work effectively and collaboratively with others and be capable of performing a variety of roles within the production area, including operating multiple machines simultaneously. They are expected to promptly report any issues or concerns related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to appropriate personnel, such as the Team Lead, Production Supervisor, Process Technicians/Engineers, or Maintenance Technicians.

Work environment:

Machine Operators work in a production driven, high-volume environment where safety is a top priority. Employees are required to wear safety glasses and must be comfortable with physical demands of the role, including standing consistently for 8-10+ hours per day, pushing, walking, lifting up to 40lbs occasionally. A machine operator also occasionally bends, stoops, and reaches at shoulder level for shift duration.

Available Shifts:

  • 1st: 5am - 1pm; Full-time with mandatory overtime on weekends

  • 2nd: 1pm - 9pm; Full-time with mandatory overtime on weekends

  • 3rd: 9pm – 5am; Full-time with mandatory overtime on weekends

Pay Details: $18.97 to $20.97 per hour
