Nightingale Senior Care is currently hiring reliable caregivers for weekend shifts to support our caregivers for weekend shifts to support our clients throughout Orange County and nearby areas. We are looking for caregivers who are dependable attentive, and comfortable proving one-on-one care in a home setting

Weekend shifts available

- Day & Evening shifts (varies by client)
- Part-time with opportunity for additional hours
- Saturday and Sunday shifts

This position works well for caregivers who

Want part-time or supplemental hours
Prefer shorter visits rather than long shifts
Are open to working with multiple clients during the week
As a home care agency, shifts and times vary based on individual client needs. Specific start and end times differ by case. Flexible availability is strongly preferred.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a caregiver (Minimum 2+ Years Preferred)
Current HCA (Home Care Aide) registration
Successful completion of a Live-Scan (Criminal Background Check)
Recent TB TEST ((Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Respectful, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Responsibilities:

Caregiver will provide companionship, emotional support, and promote clients' social engagement
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Support mobility and transfers, including safe lifting when necessary
Monitor and document clients' health status and reporting changes
Administer medication reminders
Maintain a clean and safe, and comfortable environment in accordance with safety protocols
Uphold clients' rights while ensuring dignity, respect, and compassionate care
Build positive relationships with clients and interpersonal skills.
