Responsibilities:

• Provide respite care for children and adults with special needs including autism, down syndrome and other developmental delays.
• Offer support by caring for individuals with disabilities (physical or mental) and age-related needs
• Engage clients in appropriate activities and activities that they enjoy
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients
• Assist with daily living activities - bathing dressing, grooming, meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Update family members on the client's condition, activities and any other concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience working with special need children and adults (preferred)
• Valid California Driver's License (required)
• Ability to pass a background and reference check
• Current TB test
• CPR and First Aid certification
