A well-established Irvine law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support attorneys handling complex civil litigation, employment litigation experience is a plus. This is a fully onsite role for someone detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced legal environment.
What You'll Do
• Prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Handle California state and federal e‑filings and service
• Maintain attorney calendars and track deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Manage client correspondence and communication with courts and opposing counsel
• Organize case files and assist with trial prep, exhibits, and logistics
• Process time entries, billing, and expenses
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of litigation secretary experience, preferably civil litigation
• Strong knowledge of CA state and federal court rules and procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
• Excellent grammar, formatting, and document production abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and urgency
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary up to $105,000 depending on experience
